I like these people in different ways, their personalities, how they perform, or how their charisma pulls me.. I don't know, they're just the members of every Kpop group I know who really stands out for me..

Big Bang

Big Bang (Korean: 빅뱅), commonly stylized as BIGBANG, is a Korean boy band made up of five Korean singers. When they first debuted, they were considered to be the new face of the YG family, a pet name for their management company YG Entertainment. Although their debut was somewhat successful, it was not until the release of "거짓말" ("Lies") that the group gained mainstream success.

I knew of the because of their commercial with 2ne1 which was the 'Lollipop' for Cyon.. Like 2ne1, they are really different from other boy bands.. They're style is different and funky.. They're more on the hiphop side which really made me become interested in them.. I loved them because they're songs are great.. They're performances are awesome.. And I like the fact that they really famous because of their songs which I believe that should be a factor of a good artist..

2ne1

2NE1 (Korean: 투 애니원; pronounced "to anyone" or "twenty-one") is a popular fast raising South Korean girl group created by YG Entertainment. First appearing in a Cyon commercial campaign with Big Bang for LG Telecom, their debut single "Fire" was released on May 6, 2009. The group's name stands for "New Evolution of the 21st Century".


They are my current favorite group in Kpop.. I really like them.. Among the girl groups I know and I heard of, they are at least the group that really stands out.. They really have a different style in their kind of songs, in their performances, in their over-all look.. I knew of them because of Dara who was really popular when she debuted here in my country.. I was searching for her in the internet and then what popped out was their Lollipop video with Big Bang.. It was through that I am loving their group ever since their debut..


Why I like 2ne1?

• It's their style..
• They're songs are fun and really nice..
• They're very charismatic when they perform..
• I'm loving the each member's personality..

Wonder Girls

The Wonder Girls (Korean: 원더걸스) are a South Korean girl group. Their producer and manager is singer-songwriter Park Jin-Young and the Wonder Girls are signed to his talent agency, JYP Entertainment. Each of the five original members were selected through auditions. Debuting in early 2007, they became popular in the fall of that year with the song "Tell Me."


It's their songs that made me notice them.. It's the dance crazes that they had that made me become interested to them.. I barely know about them but I actually really like them.. They have a different aura from SNSD but I think it's the reason why they are famous.. I knew of them because they are known before as rivals with SNSD.. But that didn't make hate them.. Knowing them became another reason for me to love Kpop..

Super Junior

Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어), often referred to as SJ or SuJu (슈주), is a boy band from Seoul, South Korea formed by SM Entertainment in 2005. With a total of thirteen members, Super Junior is the largest boy band in the world. The group consists of Leeteuk (the leader), Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kibum and Kyuhyun.


If SNSD's the first girl group I knew, then Super Junior would be the first boy band I knew of.. I first watched them when I accidentally clicked a video of their t.v. show which was called 'Full House', i think?.. Anyway, because of that show, I became fond of them.. They were so fun and entertaining.. I liked how they treat each other like brothers.. They all look so young that I thought before that they are with the age-bracket of SNSD.. =D I really liked their personalities that I eventually liked their songs and how they perform..


Why I like Super Junior?

• They're so much fun to watch..

Girls' Generation

Girls' Generation (Hangul: 소녀시대; Hanja: 少女時代) is a popular South Korean nine-member girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2007. Its members include (in order of official announcement) YoonA, Tiffany, YuRi, HyoYeon, SooYoung, SeoHyun, Taeyeon (the leader), Jessica, and Sunny. International Girls' Generation fans usually refer to the group as SNSD, the acronym of the group's Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae or So Nyuh Shi Dae.


SNSD is the first girl group I've loved.. They're young, pretty, good singers and dancers, and they have a very good charisma.. I actually think that they really have an appeal to a wide range of people, from young to adults, from girls to boys.. I knew about them because of HyoYeon.. I had read about an article which is all about, Korean artists who look a like.. I saw there that HyoYeon look a little like Song Hye-kyo who is popular here because of her series Full House.. I got interested so I searched for her group.. And voila! they are already part of the reasons I'm loving Kpop right now..

Boa Kwon

Boa Kwon (권보아 Kwon Boa, born November 5, 1986), commonly known by her stage name BoA, which is an acronym for Beat of Angel, is a Korean singer, active in South Korea, Japan, and the United States. Born and raised in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, BoA was discovered by SM Entertainment talent agents when she accompanied her older brother to a talent search.


She's the first reason why I'm loving Kpop right now.. Actually, I just knew about her when she won in MTV Asia Music Awards which I don't exactly remember when.. I noticed her because she was so young back then and to be honest, winning an MTV award at a very young age is so awesome.. When Kpop started to arise here in my country, I immediately remembered her.. I searched her name in YouTube to see videos of her.. To cut the long story short, I loved her from them on..

Why I like her?

• I like her songs..
• I like the way she sings..
• I like the way she performs..
• Most of all, I love the way she dances.. She's so cool when she dances..

I Heart Kpop

"K-pop is an abbreviation for Korean Pop, specifically from South Korea. Many of these artists and musical groups have branched out of South Korea and have become popular in many countries around the world. The popularity of K-pop is often considered a part of the rise of the Korean wave, the recent surge of popularity of contemporary South Korean culture in Asia."


That's what you'll read when you search what Kpop means.. Although I'm not a Korean per se, I'm loving Kpop right now.. I'm one of those fans who cheers for their favorite boy bands and girl groups.. I'm one of those people who listens to the different songs of Kpop groups even though I don't understand every single line of it.. But how did I really know about 'Kpop'? When did I love it?.. Actually, I really can't remember.. =D Maybe because I've loved Korean dramas [or what we call here 'Koreanovelas'] first when they are shown here in my country.. I was really into these dramas that I've become interested in Korea.. Korean entertainment industry have this certain factor, which I can't really describe though, that attracts me.. But whatever the reasons may be, I sure love Kpop right now..


Honestly, I still have little knowledge about Kpop.. I only know a few Kpop groups right now.. I still update myself through sites that I can say reliable sources of news about Kpop..


Through this blog account, I will be posting my ideas, feelings, and news about Kpop.. This will be my way of appreciating Kpop.. =D
